Nonghet is a remote area surrounded by mountains in the northeast of Laos, close to the border with Vietnam.
About 65% of the population in Nonghet are Hmong people, who are one of the most disadvantaged ethnic groups in Laos.
Laos is the most heavily bombed country, per capita, in history. ChildFund is working with local partners to clear land from unexploded bombs.
We're working with 4 groups of Youth Ambassadors in Nonghet who represent their community here online!
